The RCAF and LA RAZA GALERIA POSADA invite you to join us, MAYOR PRO TEM ERIC GUERRA, MAYOR KEVIN McCARTY, and the SACRAMENTO CITY COUNCIL in honoring Sra. ANGELBERTHA COBB on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2026 at 5PM in the CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS. Sra. Cobb will receive a CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION from Mayor Pro Tem Guerra as well as the “KEY TO THE CITY” from Mayor McCarty.

These tributes recognize Sra. Cobb’s numerous contributions to the Sacramento region for almost sixty years, including as the founder of February 24th Mexican Flag Day at Sutter’s Fort, the Grupo Ballet Quetzalcoatl, and Folklore Mexicano de Sacramento as well as co-founder of El Comité Patriótico Mexicano de Sacramento and of the RCAF’s Dia de los Muertos ceremony at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Come and join us in thanking Sra. Cobb for her dedication to public service and many contributions to our communities!
