RCAF Artists Panel Discussion

  • Verge Center for the Arts 625 - S Street, Sacramento, 95811 (map)

The dynamic panel brings the Royal Chicano Air Force’s influence into sharp focus as the artists reflect on the power of collective work, the lessons learned through decades of teaching and community engagement, and what it takes to sustain a creative movement over time. From public art to private practices, unrealized dreams to future hopes, the conversation looks forward as much as it looks back, grappling with the state of contemporary arts, the role of arts education, and the influences that continue to shape and inspire new possibilities in their future projects.

Moderated by Juan Carrillo, participants include Rudy Cuellar, Lorraine Garcia-Nakata, Stan Padilla, and Celia Herrera Rodriguez.

PRICE: MEMBER $10, GENERAL $20, STUDENT FREE (MUST PROVIDE STUDENT ID AT DOOR)
